Dr. Gilliam received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and was awarded her medical degree from Meharry Medical College. She completed her Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington D.C..
She completed a fellowship program specializing in Breast Imaging and Intervention at The George Washington University Hospital in Washington D.C., where she also served as an assistant clinical professor.
Dr. Gilliam maintains expertise in and has successfully performed hundreds of interventional breast procedures including stereotactic, ultrasound and MRI guided biopsies. She sees patients primarily in our Rockville office.
